Ronald R. Gendreau a resident of Goldsboro, North Carolina, formerly of Dracut died on Friday February 3, 2012 following a brief illness. He was 58.
He was born in Lowell on September 4, 1953, a son of Raymond J. Gendreau of Dracut who survives him and the late Doris M. (Ciesla) Gendreau.
Ron graduated from Dracut high School and UMASS Lowell where he studied music education. He was an accomplished guitarist and played in several area bands prior to moving to North Carolina ten years ago.
Ron completed the coast Guard Auxiliary course on boating and seamanship in 1988
Surviving him besides his father are his sisters and brother, Kathleen Villemaire and her husband George of Hudson, NH, Judith Ebanks and her husband William of Grand Cayman, Michael Gendreau of Lowell, Nancy Davis and her husband Johnny of Goldsboro, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
